Hello Sisters and Brothers,

The 2025 Training Season is about to begin, please go to our training tab to view the new Training Schedule. Trainings are set up a bit different this year to eliminate the possibility of cancelling OSHA's because members don't stay for the 2nd portion of the training. So, please work with our staff to schedule you accordingly. 1st Aid/CPR/AED training will begin this spring. Another schedule will be sent out to include those dates.

We will be holding our Orientation for the year on February 15th. If you or know anyone who might be interested please call the apprenticeship for an application.
​
8-hour Crane Refresher will be held February 8th, 2025, 8:00 am, at the apprenticeship. If you are needing to renew your State License, please call to register.
​

If you feel you will not benefit from the training program because of your experience and or training you have already received, you can become a Journeyman with IUOE Local 953. They will make the determination of your Journeyman Skill Level. Some applicants will be sent to us for Journeyman Testing.
To get on the out of work list you will need:

Pay a $30 Registration Fee & fill out forms

Bring in any Certifications

Drivers License/Social Security Card

WHAT WE WANT TO ACHIEVE
TRAIN OPERATORS, MECHANICS, AND STATIONARY MECHANICS FOR GENERATIONS TO COME
OUR GOAL
Apprentices will be trained to take the places of past generations of Heavy Machine Operators, Heavy Duty Mechanics, and Stationary Mechanics. You will be equipped to compete in a highly competitive world, make a good living, and be a credit to yourself, your community, and your country.

Selection of Apprentices under this program shall be made from qualified applicants on the basis of qualifications alone and without regard to race, creed, color, national origin or sex. This Program shall be operated on a completely nondiscriminatory basis.
